Paul has been married to his wife Tracey for over 32 years, has four adult children and four grandchildren.
Paul continues to practice law and is the senior leader of Gateway Church in Adelaide, a Spirit filled church he has led for over 12 years. He has travelled extensively throughout the world speaking to various church organisations and business leaders in churches and at conferences, teaching into a range of topics including living an empowered life, a believer’s life in the Spirit, engaging the wisdom of Scripture, leadership, business ethics, communication and the Kingdom of heaven.
Paul holds numerous qualifications including a Bachelor of Arts with Honours majoring in politics from the University of Adelaide, a Bachelor of Legal Studies with Honours from Macquarie University where he was awarded membership as a Golden Key Scholar, a Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice from the University of South Australia, and candidature for Ph. D at the University of Adelaide developing a thesis on accountability of police in Australia. (intermitted)
Paul previously held the position of South Australian President of the Australian Institute of International Affairs whilst studying at the University of Adelaide and has been a part time tutor at the University of Adelaide during his Ph.D candidature. He has previously managed his own businesses and been a member of the South Australian Police Department and police prosecutor.
Paul has a diverse range of skills and life experiences that he believes is valuable in teaching and leading others, encouraging and coaching them into their potential and life purpose. Deeply motivated as a life learner Paul continues to be inspired by the authenticity of servant leadership that empowers others. He believes that servant leadership creates a leader to leader connection and conversation to help people become self-governing and responsible so as to reach their full potential and life purpose.
Paul is passionate about his family, living an empowered life, learning, writing, communication and well-being. He has continuing interests in law, organisational behaviour, theology and jurisprudence, ancient thought and religion, philosophy, neuroscience, consciousness, and spirituality, business leadership and human rights. He remains committed as a life learner to see people live a transformed life.
